|The inquiry learning process allows educators to connect their research and experience with Computational Thinking (CT) to an investigation that will lead them to deeper understanding, more effective instructional strategies, and improved student achievement. This course requires educators to engage in research and implementation on an independent basis and/or with colleagues. Participants design research CT in education, reflect on research, create and implement lesson plans in their educational setting, reflect on their experience and share. Attendance at one of Angie’s free Code.org workshops is encouraged but not mandatory. The goal of this independent study is to explore CT, embed it into your educational setting, and share your lessons and research with others. This class is followed by the first independent study, Exploring Computer Science.
