GPDE6053B: PBS: How We Learn  (3 cr.)
In the book, How We Learn, Benedict Carey offers up a robust look at how the brain learns new information. More specifically, he explores how the brain reacts to repetition, exposure to new information, and failure to name a few. Comprehension and retention are more accessible when one knows the information presented in this book. This course is designed to bring educators together to unpack the concepts and strategies from this resource. This book will be the catalyst for research, collaboration, and implementation of new approaches in the classroom. Additionally, learners will build a robust source list around Innovation in education.
