Instruction Certificate (27-37 credits)

The Instruction graduate certificate program prepares students to earn a teaching license in Elementary Education (K-6) with an Early Adolescence (5-8) specialty, or Early Adolescence (5-8)/Young Adult Education (9-12). Students must have completed a bachelor's degree at an accredited university; however, they may have little or no previous coursework in education. Students who elect to complete the graduate certificate may return to complete the M.A. in Instruction within five years of their initial enrollment.
